This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer specialized legal counsel and support to clients concerning data privacy and security, telemedicine, mobile health applications, electronic health records, regulations of artificial intelligence, and medical devices.
• Evaluate and oversee adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards associated with digital health activities.
• Create and execute compliance programs to ensure conformity with legal mandates and best practices.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and licenses pertaining to digital health products and services.
• Verify that contracts comply with applicable laws and safeguard the interests of the clients.
• At least 8 years of pertinent legal experience, ideally in healthcare law, technology law, or a related discipline.
• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH Act, FDA regulations) as well as technology-related legal frameworks (e.g., data protection, cybersecurity, telecommunication laws).
• Strong grasp of digital health technologies, which include electronic health records, telemedicine systems, wearables, and health applications.
• Demonstrated expertise in the drafting, negotiation, and review of contracts related to technology and healthcare.
