This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Evaluates listings, data visualization tools, and patient profiles containing medical data for accuracy and relevance.
• Assists in the development of the Medical Data Review Plan in accordance with established standards.
• Ensures the MDRP aligns with other project plans, the contracted scope of work, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Assesses the Edit Check Plan to ensure appropriate medical edit checks are in place and consolidates all medical data review checks.
• Manages project-specific tasks such as the review of the electronic Case Report Form (eCRF) and the CRF Completion Guidelines.
• Reviews and endorses all test outputs of listings and visualizations in collaboration with project team stakeholders.
• Engages in or attends internal and client meetings as required.
• Analyzes data for protocol deviations.
• Reviews and addresses Quality Control (QC) findings as necessary.
• Guarantees that medical data review tasks are completed within agreed timelines and adhere to established quality standards.
• Leverages therapeutic area expertise to scrutinize clinical data, identify discrepancies, and formulate and respond to medical inquiries.
• A scientific educational background such as MD, PharmD, PhD, Nursing degree, or MS.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical clinical/medical data review is essential, including clinical cross-check experience.
• Preferably, 8+ years of experience.
• Prior experience in Solid Tumor Oncology is required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong operational abilities with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
• Experience in coding review is necessary.
• Training in query writing is preferred.
• Proficient in navigating clinical databases.
• Strong skills in MS Excel.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice; thorough understanding of clinical trial design; familiarity with the overall drug development process.
