Medical Credentialing Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete credentialing process for providers, from initial intake to final approval.

• Create and update provider profiles using Modio.

• Monitor credentialing workflows and progress utilizing JIRA.

• Conduct primary source verifications, which include checking licenses, educational background, board certifications, DEA, and other essential credentials.

• Execute sanction screenings (OIG, SAM, NPDB) and perform compliance evaluations.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to transition providers from Credentialing Approved status to Clear to Practice (CTP).

• Engage with providers to ensure the prompt completion of credentialing applications and necessary documentation.

• Keep precise credentialing records and assist with compliance obligations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in provider credentialing; experience in telehealth or multi-state credentialing is preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of primary source verification (PSV) and healthcare compliance standards.

• Familiarity with credentialing software; experience with Modio is a plus.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple providers and deadlines efficiently.

• Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up abilities.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic work environment.
