Medical Content Specialist – Medical Communications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Accountable for conducting accuracy assessments of scientific materials produced by medical writers and/or clients.

• Overseeing citations such as sourcing, marking up references, and uploading them to document review platforms while ensuring proper linking.

• Creating data tables and basic figures.

• Compiling medical journal metrics from online databases.

• Extracting information from scientific articles for inclusion in systematic literature reviews.

• Verifying that manuscript content adheres to established reporting guidelines.

• Executing program landscaping for significant international conferences.

• A medical degree.

• An advanced degree in a biomedical field.

• Qualification as a nurse or pharmacist.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to produce high-quality materials with minimal internal review or assistance.

• Strong project management and organizational abilities.

• Flexibility, adaptability, and resourcefulness.

• Effective time management skills.

• Good judgment and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent quality control skills with a keen eye for detail in style, consistency, grammar, scientific accuracy, proofreading, layout, etc.

• Strong sense of responsibility and urgency; capacity to take ownership of projects.

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

• Solid grasp of human pathophysiology and disease, with the ability to quickly learn new and diverse subject areas.

• Capacity to collaborate within a team and establish productive working relationships both within and across Inizio Medical.

• Flexibility to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing deadlines, and work with limited resources.

• Proficient in IT skills including Word, PowerPoint, Endnote, and basic Excel.
