This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +7 more states.
• Manage a high volume of outbound and inbound calls with professionalism and assurance.
• Negotiate payment plans that align with both customer needs and company objectives.
• Consistently achieve and surpass performance indicators (quality, compliance, collections).
• Keep precise records and adhere to all necessary laws and standards.
• Quickly establish trust through active listening, empathy, and effective communication.
• Must communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and telephone etiquette along with the provided electronic tools.
• Capable of navigating various computer applications and databases.
• Skilled in multitasking, able to communicate via phone while managing multiple computer systems simultaneously.
• Proficient in overcoming objections and challenges to successfully negotiate payments.
• Dependable and accountable; arrives punctually and utilizes time effectively.
• Exhibits professional judgment in all dealings.
• Aware of sensitive personal information (SPI) and sensitive consumer data (such as Protected Health Information (PHI)) while ensuring confidentiality.
• Competent in using provided tools to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Self-motivated and dedicated to professional growth.
• Willingness and capability to achieve Professional Collections Specialist (PCS) certification within one year of hire, with expenses covered by the company.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) is required.
• Ability to successfully complete the company's collector training program.
• Must pass initial and ongoing identity, criminal, and background checks.
