Medical Coder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accurately assign ICD-10-CM codes.

• Review the OASIS (Outcome and Assessment Information Set) and allocate precise codes based on the documentation provided.

• Identify appropriate primary diagnoses and procedures, along with relevant secondary diagnoses and procedures.

• Comply with coding regulations and internal policies to guarantee accurate billing for our client agencies.

• Assess, interpret, and suggest corrections to the plan of care as necessary.

• Execute additional job responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 1-2 years of relevant work experience.

• Coding certification (HCS-D or BCHH - C).

• Experience with OASIS (preferred).

• Experience in hospice care (preferred).
