Medical Coder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Analyze medical records and assign codes utilizing ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS Level II systems

• Ensure the precision of coding and adherence to regulatory standards

• Review chart components and validate the accuracy of medical records

• Prepare and submit coded data for insurance claims

• Adhere to CPT/ICD-10 coding guidelines and legal standards to maintain compliance with HIPAA

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification

• 2-3 years of experience as a Certified Professional Coder

• Proficient in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding

• Skilled in medical coding and billing software

• Familiar with multiple Microsoft operating systems, VOIP, and MS Office Suite
