Medical Canvass Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute high-volume outreach to healthcare providers, facilities, and related organizations to obtain records, verify treatments, and support investigative initiatives.

• Carry out medical canvassing and oversee comprehensive record retrieval processes, which include initiating requests, performing follow-ups, tracking progress, and coordinating with providers or third parties until completion.

• Assess client requests and available information to identify the appropriate providers, facilities, or sources to contact.

• Thoroughly document all findings, call outcomes, and retrieval activities within case management systems.

• Evaluate canvassing and retrieval outcomes to identify inconsistencies, undisclosed treatments, or gaps in reported medical histories, ensuring that findings are well-documented.

• Recognize delays, non-responsive providers, or obstacles to record retrieval, and escalate complex retrieval issues as necessary.

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Excellent verbal communication skills, including the capacity to conduct professional outbound calls.

• Basic analytical skills with the capability to review information and pinpoint discrepancies or gaps.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and case management systems.

• Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote setting.

• Experience with outbound calling or customer interactions in a professional environment.

• Proven ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and maintain productivity standards.

• Capacity to handle sensitive or confidential information with professionalism.
