This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Submit dental insurance claims using electronic claims submission systems.
• Assist in the transition of the practice from manual to electronic claims processing.
• Oversee accounts receivable (A/R) and follow up on pending insurance claims.
• Perform payment posting and reconcile insurance payments.
• Investigate and resolve any outstanding billing and reimbursement issues.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Navigate through insurance portals and electronic claims submission platforms.
• Coordinate and follow up on patient treatment plans.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, benefits, and reimbursement status.
• Professionally answer inbound phone calls.
• Make outbound calls to both patients and insurance companies.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments.
• Manage and respond to emails effectively.
• Maintain accurate patient records in Eaglesoft and other practice management systems.
• Provide general administrative support to enhance office efficiency.
• Previous experience in medical or dental billing is required.
• Dental billing experience is highly preferred; however, candidates with a strong medical billing background are encouraged to apply.
• Comprehensive knowledge of claims submission, accounts receivable (A/R), insurance verification, and payment posting.
• Experience in using insurance portals and electronic claims submission systems.
• Proven experience following up on denied, delayed, or outstanding insurance claims.
• Experience with Eaglesoft is preferred.
• Candidates familiar with similar dental practice management software, such as Open Dental, are also welcome to apply.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and committed to a long-term position.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Comfortable communicating with patients and insurance companies via phone and email.
• Quick learner who can adapt to new software and workflows.
• Must speak and write English clearly and professionally.
• Must have relevant work experience.
• Must be able to provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding (mandatory).
• Must be available to attend video meetings with the camera on when required.
