
Medical Billing Call Center Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Welcome our patients with a warm and upbeat attitude.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries aiming for a single-call resolution.
• Maintain and update confidential patient information and insurance billing records.
• Process credit card transactions efficiently.
• Oversee tasks within our internal work queues, updating information as required.
• Handle patient inquiries received through our website, responding via phone to discuss issues and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with collection agencies to ensure accurate information is updated and provided.
• Address requests from attorneys for balance inquiries and correspondence, while also updating and billing insurance.
• Complete the workflow for self-pay patient accounts, which includes reviewing correspondence, posting payments, and resolving any issues.
• Demonstrated experience in handling a high volume of calls in a call center or customer support setting is preferred, with prior healthcare experience being a significant advantage.
• Exceptional communication abilities and a professional demeanor are essential.
• Capable of working effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Detail-oriented individuals who are both team players and highly self-motivated.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer are required, along with the capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally.
