This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Welcome patients with a warm and positive attitude.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries with the aim of achieving one-call resolution.
• Update sensitive information and manage insurance billing.
• Process credit card transactions efficiently.
• Oversee internal work queue tasks and make necessary updates.
• Handle patient inquiries received via the website by phone, addressing concerns and providing solutions.
• Collaborate with collection agencies to ensure accurate information is updated and provided.
• Respond to attorney requests regarding balances and correspondence; ensure insurance is billed and updated.
• Complete workflows for patient self-pay accounts, review documentation, post payments, and resolve any issues.
• Previous experience handling high-volume calls in a call center or similar customer support position is preferred.
• Background in healthcare is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential.
• Capacity to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Detail-oriented, self-driven team player.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
• Capability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally.
