Medical Billing Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Accurately process and submit medical claims in a timely manner

• Assign the correct ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding

• Evaluate documentation to ensure coding compliance

• Follow up on any denied or unpaid claims as necessary

• Engage in communication with providers, payers, or clients when required

• Uphold HIPAA regulations and data security standards

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred: Experience in medical billing, coding, or claim processing

• Knowledge of EHR or billing software

• Excellent attention to detail and precision

• Basic knowledge of insurance guidelines and terminology

• Certifications such as CPC or CBCS are advantageous

• Entry-Level Applicants: If you lack experience, that's acceptable. We will consider highly motivated candidates who show a strong interest in the field.
