
Medical Billing and Coding β Training Program, Credentialing and Enrollment Internship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Participants will gain insights into how healthcare services are recorded, coded, accredited, enrolled with insurance providers, and reimbursed within healthcare organizations.
β’ Learners will acquire essential knowledge of the three key healthcare coding systems utilized in medical billing and coding: CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II.
β’ Throughout the program, participants will be introduced to the procedures related to provider credentialing and recredentialing, payer enrollment, and documentation verification.
β’ Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
β’ A high school diploma or GED is required.
β’ Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident/Green Card holder (not available to non-citizens or Visa holders).
β’ Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is advantageous for this position.
β’ Candidates must successfully pass a national criminal background check.
β’ Total Stipend: $31,200, distributed over approximately 44 weeks for participation in both remote learning and remote hands-on internship/externship training.
β’ Eligible for monthly Health Marketplace reimbursement of up to $600 for 44 weeks (Participant cost only) - certain restrictions apply.
β’ Internet Stipend of $35/month for 44 weeks.
