Medical Biller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review billing and payroll entries in the practice management system to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to claim submission.

• Detect and rectify billing discrepancies, which may include session time conflicts, missing mileage, and incorrect timesheets.

• Record and reconcile insurance and private-pay payments, ensuring all entries correspond with EOBs and internal documentation.

• Collaborate with internal staff to clarify and resolve issues related to billing and payroll.

• Assist in month-end reconciliation and reporting to promote financial accuracy and transparency.

• Maintain organized and precise financial records for billing and payroll functions.

• Provide support for additional administrative tasks as needed, with opportunities to expand responsibilities based on performance and growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in medical billing is essential.

• Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis billing practices and accounts receivable is advantageous, though not mandatory.

• Analytical Thinker: Capable of following logical protocols, identifying data inconsistencies, and drawing precise conclusions during audits.

• Detail-Oriented: Thorough and meticulous when examining billing, payroll, and reporting entries.
