This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will reach out to payers to inquire about the status of medical claims, follow up on denials, or address partial payments.

• You will gather payer requirements to ensure timely adjudication of claims.

• You will submit claims with the necessary documentation attached.

• You will track, manage, and inform our internal team and/or customers about changes or updates to medical coverage and guidelines.

• You will handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence as assigned.

• You will verify, adjust, and update Accounts Receivable (A/R) based on correspondence received from the insurance company.

• You will assist in facilitating communication regarding error and denial trends.

• You will initiate the review and appeals process for disputed claims.

• You will collaborate with Candid’s Strategy & Operations team concerning customer accounts and claim trends.

• You will uphold HIPAA guidelines.


⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue cycle management (specifically in medical billing or within the healthcare/healthtech sector).

• You are knowledgeable in CPT and ICD-10 codes.

• You have an investigative mindset and are comfortable identifying problems and proposing actions based on data analysis.

• You are a self-starter.

• You take pride in your work and aim for high standards, while also understanding that “done is better than perfect,” and possess good judgment on which shortcuts are acceptable.

• You exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills.

• You demonstrate effective multitasking abilities.

• You maintain a positive and collaborative attitude when working and communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization.
