Medical Assistant – Mobile Clinic Champion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Support the provider during examinations and procedures.

• Gather and document vital signs (such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.).

• Prepare and dispense medications as instructed by a provider.

• Conduct basic laboratory tests and collect samples for analysis.

• Keep accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality.

• Assist with patient registration, scheduling appointments, managing insurance documentation, and billing processes.

• Provide support to providers during women's health and maternal care visits, including exams, screenings, and hands-on assistance.

• Set up examination rooms and ensure they are properly sanitized.

• Comply with all health and safety regulations as mandated by the state of Missouri.

• Engage in community outreach events to enhance community involvement with the mobile clinic program.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.

• Medical Assistant certification is mandatory.

• BLS Certification is required.

• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software.

• Bilingual (Spanish/English or another language) is essential.

• Must be committed to delivering exceptional service to all stakeholders.
