This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Support healthcare providers by coordinating appointment scheduling, follow-ups with patients, and updates to medical records.

• Oversee electronic health records (EHR) by entering patient information, refreshing charts, and ensuring data accuracy.

• Engage with patients through phone, email, or telehealth platforms to offer assistance and education.

• Manage insurance verification processes, address billing questions, and facilitate prior authorizations.

• Aid in prescription refills and collaborate with pharmacies for smooth operations.

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations.

• Provide virtual support for medical documentation, transcription, and scribing tasks.

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms.

• Excellent communication abilities and a professional approach to patient interactions.

• Understanding of medical terminology and healthcare processes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and telehealth technologies.

• A reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace are essential.
