Medical Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assist healthcare providers by managing both administrative and clinical responsibilities.

• Address patient portal inquiries regarding medication side effects and usage.

• Aid in basic nursing triage and respond to patient questions.

• Offer support to facilitate effective patient communication and care coordination.

• Handle patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy, ensuring an outstanding patient experience.

• Comply with HIPAA and all pertinent healthcare privacy and safety regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in a professional setting.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a remote work environment.

• Strong organizational, research, and administrative abilities.

• Experience in managing calendars and scheduling across various time zones.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace (GSuite) tools including Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Gmail, and Calendar.

• High emotional intelligence, maturity, and proven business acumen.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Comfort in seeking clarification from supervisors regarding clarity, deadlines, and prioritization when not clearly communicated.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Teams.

• Licensed healthcare professional (RN, LVN, MA)**

• Valid state licensure and capacity to practice telehealth in designated regions**

• Prior experience in telemedicine, clinical practice, or patient care is strongly preferred**

• Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to clearly explain medical terminology to patients**

• Proficiency with telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and digital communication tools**

• Capability to work independently while collaborating with a remote healthcare team**

• Demonstrated empathy, professionalism, and a patient-centered approach**

• Multistate licensure for broader telehealth coverage**

• Bilingual or multilingual communication abilities**

• Experience in chronic disease management, urgent care, or behavioral health.
