This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Collect comprehensive documentation and input data into various systems.
• Evaluate initial applications and assessments to establish eligibility for federal and state medical assistance.
• Input household details and authorize eligibility within the Kansas Economic and Enforcement System (KEES).
• Record the eligibility determination in the electronic case journal and dispatch the appropriate correspondence to clients.
• Make outbound calls to confirm or acquire missing information when documentation is incomplete.
• Participate in training sessions as assigned to enhance understanding of Kansas Medicaid eligibility programs.
• At least two (2) years of experience in assessing eligibility for Long-Term Care, Elderly and Disabled, or Family Medical programs.
• Successfully complete KDHE Eligibility Training and sandbox exercises.
• Proficient computer skills with the capability to navigate complex software systems.
• Excellent data entry skills, with the ability to type 28-30 words per minute accurately.
• Familiarity with MS Office, Outlook, and internet usage.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent; post-secondary education is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English, with the ability to speak and read both languages fluently.
