This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Utilize quantitative methodologies and techniques to oversee, analyze, and interpret research data.
• Develop, clean, and document extensive datasets for internal applications as well as project-specific requirements.
• Generate tailored, presentation-ready reports based on the outcomes of data analysis.
• Participate in the design and methodology of research studies.
• Oversee administrative aspects of projects to guarantee efficient execution.
• Aid in the creation of technical procedures, documentation, and reports.
• Write, compile, and refine assigned sections of proposals and project deliverables.
• Evaluate work products to ensure precision, clarity, and consistency of content.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Epidemiology, Economics, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with healthcare administrative data, including Medicaid, Medicare, and/or commercial claims and encounter data.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical pricing data, prescription drug utilization data, pharmacy claims, or other relevant data sources.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one statistical programming language (e.g., R, Python, SAS, or Stata) for managing, analyzing, and reporting on large datasets.
• Experience in applying data management, validation, and quality assurance techniques to complex administrative datasets.
• Background in contributing to technical reports, client deliverables, and proposal development.
• Knowledge of Medicaid policy, financing, managed care, and/or value-based payment models is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with advanced analytic methods, including machine learning, is also preferred but not required.
