Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Transform broad inquiries into clearly defined analytical strategies, encompassing the identification of populations, timelines, comparison groups, and suitable methodologies;

• Deliver ad-hoc analyses to extract insights and summarize key conclusions, limitations, or cautions;

• Act as a technical intermediary and subject matter expert for intricate analytical inquiries;

• Advise on optimal actions based on analytical outcomes, trade-offs, and business limitations;

• Utilize expertise across various fields (analytics, statistics, data engineering, business context) to develop innovative solutions;

• Work in partnership with researchers, data scientists, reporting teams, and business stakeholders to establish objectives, success metrics, and analytical methodologies;

• Utilize DBT, SQL, Python, and GitHub to extract, transform, and analyze extensive complex datasets;

• Offer support for products and applications that are driven by dashboard and reporting services;

• Handle confidential data and information in accordance with established guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline

• 8-10 years of pertinent professional experience in SQL modeling, data analysis, and visualizations, including a minimum of five years of action-oriented data analysis experience

• Proven experience managing large datasets and relational databases for data products

• Proficient in SQL at an expert level and strong Python skills for data analysis

• Exceptional collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management abilities

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time

• Capability to pass the necessary background check
