MediaOcean Analyst – Media Finance, Systems Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Media Finance Operations: Facilitate comprehensive financial processes including media billing, invoicing, vendor payment reconciliations, and client funding cash applications for global brands.

• System Optimization: Serve as the functional platform authority in Mediaocean software (Prisma, Spectra), adjusting system configurations, workflows, and templates in accordance with global standards to enhance processing efficiency.

• Data Integration & Integrity: Oversee and ensure smooth data transitions between Mediaocean and Deltek Maconomy ERP, confirming master data accuracy (clients, vendors, campaigns) and addressing integration challenges.

• Cross-Functional Partnering: Function as the primary operational link between agency finance teams, central Shared Services (AP/AR), and IT, delivering system training and facilitating the onboarding of new agencies into standardized workflows.

• Reporting & Month-End Support: Generate and evaluate media financial reports that detail spending trends, revenue status, and variances while assisting in month-end closing activities.

• Governance & Audit Compliance: Guarantee strict compliance with internal financial controls, SOX regulations, and audit standards, while maintaining accurate SOPs and documentation procedures.

• Automation & Transformation: Collaborate with transformation teams to deploy workflow automations, exception-based processing models, and AI-driven anomaly detection for billing verification.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Professional Experience: 2–5+ years of focused experience within agency media finance operations, financial systems support, or a centralized corporate Shared Services (SSC/BPO) environment.

• Niche Software Expertise: Direct, hands-on administrative or advanced operational experience with Mediaocean platforms (Prisma or Spectra).

• Financial Literacy: Comprehensive understanding of fundamental accounting structures, including multi-currency billing, high-volume reconciliations, and AP/AR workflows.

• Data Analysis Capabilities: Proficient MS Excel skills with a demonstrated ability to reconcile, manipulate, and analyze large datasets across disparate systems.
