This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Collaborate directly with the manager to create and oversee comprehensive media strategies for all designated clients, managing the entire process from initial planning to execution.
• Perform in-depth audience targeting and competitive analysis utilizing both traditional tools (e.g., Nielsen, Comscore, MRI-Simmons) and advanced AI research tools to develop accurate personas and identify consumer behaviors.
• Convert research findings into actionable media strategies, determining the ideal mix across traditional, digital, programmatic, and social channels to meet client objectives.
• Distribute the advertising budget across various platforms and timelines to optimize reach and frequency, while creating and maintaining the master campaign flowchart for both agency and client teams.
• Assess and evaluate new partner opportunities and media channels, crafting clear, client-facing points of view (POVs) and recommendations.
• Ensure the timely preparation, organization, and execution of all necessary campaign documentation, including flowcharts, authorizations, buying goals, insertion orders (IOs), and briefs.
• Collaborate closely with internal programmatic, social, traditional buying, and trafficking teams to ensure the effective execution of strategic plans and competitive ad space purchases.
• Utilize AI tools where beneficial to enhance data analysis, uncover unique audience insights, streamline repetitive planning tasks, and contribute to innovative media solutions.
• 1–2+ years of experience in media planning, ideally in an agency setting.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and managing both traditional and digital media landscapes, with a strong understanding of industry terminology.
• A solid grasp of client business goals, with the capability to perform competitive data analysis and interpret target media consumption data.
• Strong understanding of media planning processes and tools such as Guideline, Resonate, SQAD, and Vivvix, along with experience in conducting Reach & Frequency (R/F) analyses.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable utilizing AI tools (like ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) to improve efficiency and strategy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work autonomously, and advance objectives with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in healthcare and/or a genuine interest in the healthcare sector is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
