This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and disseminate all onboard guest communications (daily program, menus, signage, event materials, newsletters, and digital content) accurately and promptly.
• Design all materials (layout, imagery, text) in full accordance with Aman at Sea brand guidelines and aesthetic.
• Proofread, edit, and conduct quality checks on all materials, ensuring flawless, on-brand output.
• Oversee menu production across all venues and languages, coordinating translation, localization, and approvals.
• Assist in the translation and adaptation of all guest communications in collaboration with departments and external resources.
• Evaluate final layouts and proactively enhance design, content, and presentation quality.
• Fulfill all additional print, signage, and custom design requests, effectively managing priorities and deadlines.
• Assist with communications for special guests, media, and charter programs in conjunction with management and the corporate office.
• Maintain production equipment, ensuring operational functionality through regular maintenance and prompt issue resolution.
• Manage the inventory of paper and consumables, monitor usage, and coordinate timely restocking.
• Keep well-organized digital archives, backups, templates, and administrative records.
• Collaborate closely with management and departments while adhering to SOPs, safety standards, and supporting training and additional assignments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in graphic design, digital media, journalism, communications, or a related creative field.
• Proven professional experience in desktop publishing and graphic design, accompanied by a portfolio showcasing strong visual sensibility, typographic accuracy, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and/or equivalent publishing software; capable of working across both print and digital production formats.
• Experience in producing and managing print and digital marketing or communications material in a guest-facing, hospitality, or luxury brand setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with large-format printers, photocopiers, scanners, and related production equipment; a practical, hands-on approach to equipment upkeep and maintenance.
• Exceptional written English with outstanding editorial precision — this role requires absolute accuracy in all published guest communications; excellent proofreading skills are essential.
• Fluency in English plus at least one additional language is mandatory; proficiency in two or more additional languages — particularly German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, or Mandarin — is a considerable advantage given the international diversity of Aman’s guests.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of balancing multiple concurrent production deadlines calmly while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• A genuine creative curiosity and a personal dedication to craftsmanship; someone who takes pride in the excellence of every published piece, irrespective of size.
• Discreet, professional, and respectful of guest and crew confidentiality at all times; a collaborative team player who communicates openly and positively contributes to the shipboard work environment.
• Candidates must possess valid International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) certification, along with the appropriate flag.
