This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Take charge of the Google Ads strategy and implementation from start to finish across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube.
• Oversee a monthly Google Ads budget ranging from $150K to $200K+, optimizing ROAS while maintaining efficiency.
• Develop systematic processes for testing, reporting, and optimization that can be replicated.
• Convert performance metrics into straightforward, actionable insights.
• Collaborate with the creative team to establish testing frameworks and create ad assets.
• Spot growth opportunities and transform them into strategic initiatives.
• Drive strategic discussions and reporting directly with the founder.
• Demonstrated experience managing a monthly Google Ads budget of $150K to $200K+ for a single brand (not a portfolio or aggregated totals).
• Practical experience in DTC e-commerce, including Shopify, Shopping campaigns, and Performance Max in the online retail sector.
• Proven success with brands generating 8 to 9 figures in revenue (not small startups or information products).
• Agency experience is a plus.
• Google Ads should be your primary channel and area of expertise (Search, Shopping, PMax, YouTube). This role is not focused on Meta or general multi-channel marketing.
• A senior, autonomous operator capable of managing accounts independently without supervision.
• Proficient in English for strategic discussions with US-based founders.
• Confident and articulate in client-facing situations (calls, reporting, strategic discussions).
• Strong analytical capabilities, with the skill to convert data into actionable decisions.
