Mechanical Specialist – Boilermaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute the assembly and disassembly of flange systems, ensuring they are properly aligned, meet torque specifications, and maintain sealing integrity.

• Assess, repair, and replace flange components such as bolts, gaskets, and seals in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards.

• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to perform tasks accurately.

• Carry out pressure testing and leak detection on flange connections to guarantee reliability and adherence to safety regulations.

• Operate and maintain tools and equipment, including torque wrenches, impact tools, and hydraulic tensioners.

• Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, while performing work in hazardous environments.

• Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and other trades to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.

• Keep comprehensive records of maintenance and repairs conducted on flange systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in flange assembly and disassembly or a similar position in an industrial environment.

• Skilled in using specialized tools and equipment for flange assembly and maintenance tasks.

• In-depth understanding of flange standards (such as ASME, ANSI) and bolt torque specifications.

• Knowledge of industrial safety standards, including OSHA regulations and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

• Capable of clearly and confidently communicating plans to refinery contractors (strong written and verbal communication skills).

• Proficient in diagnosing and resolving issues during actual applications.

• Possession of a valid Driver’s License.

• Valid TWIC Card.

• Completion of Basic Plus or SE-Safe Safety Essentials Training.
