Mechanical Engineer, CAD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute and narrate authentic mechanical design and CAD tasks using a Mac.

• Generate high-quality training data for sophisticated AI models.

• Navigate through actual engineering design workflows to assess and enhance state-of-the-art AI models.

• Articulate engineering decisions and rationale throughout tasks.

• Participate in a short AI interviewer dialogue.

• Complete a brief compensated assessment.

• Collaborate with esteemed researchers on AI training initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of professional experience, or currently enrolled as a postgraduate engineering student.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Practical experience in 3D modeling and drafting.

• Must possess a MacBook or Mac equipped with an Apple M-series chip or Intel processor, running macOS 15 or later.

• Proficiency in Mac-compatible CAD software such as Fusion 360, Onshape, Shapr3D, or FreeCAD.

• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings is advantageous.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree, or possess 2–3 years of relevant experience along with a Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution.

• Capacity to clearly articulate engineering decisions while engaged in work.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Applicants must not require H1-B or STEM OPT sponsorship.
