MDM Data Specialist, Level 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee and uphold the 'Golden Record' for essential data domains (Customer and Product), which includes addressing data conflicts and duplicates.

• Administer data hierarchies, relationships, and mapping across systems.

• Supervise the matching and merging process to enhance data consolidation.

• Set, evaluate, and track Data Quality KPIs (Accuracy, Completeness, Timeliness, Consistency).

• Conduct root-cause analysis on data discrepancies and spearhead remediation initiatives.

• Design and execute automated processes for data profiling, validation, and cleansing.

• Assist in the creation of data governance standards, policies, and business rules.

• Document data lineage, business glossaries, and data dictionaries.

• Facilitate data stewardship initiatives across various business units.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in data management, data stewardship, or similar roles.

• Strong SQL capabilities for data profiling and analysis.

• Solid understanding of Master Data Management principles and best practices.

• Experience with data quality tools and methodologies.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools for reporting on data quality metrics.

• Proficient knowledge of data lifecycle management and data modeling concepts.

• Exceptional communication skills; capable of conveying technical data issues to non-technical stakeholders.
