MD Field Appraiser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct vehicle inspections both via photographs and onsite to evaluate auto property damage.

• Generate precise and detailed estimates utilizing approved estimation tools.

• Recognize repair requirements and negotiate them with repair facilities.

• Ensure swift and effective resolutions in alignment with company objectives and standards.

• Perform onsite supplement assessments with repair facilities.

• Assess total loss vehicles according to company protocols.

• Manage special projects as necessary.

• Comply with training requirements to adhere to state and federal regulations.

• Engage in ongoing education to acquire and retain necessary licenses.

• Operate independently in the field with minimal oversight.

• Act as a technical advisor for claims personnel and support them with intricate claim situations.

• Cultivate strong professional relationships with repair facilities, vendors, and internal teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Residency in the Miami, Florida area is required.

• A minimum of 5 years in P&C insurance, including at least 3 years of experience in automotive appraisal.

• In-depth knowledge of repair techniques, total loss procedures, and statutory regulations is essential.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.

• A valid Driver’s License is necessary.

• An undergraduate degree is required.
