MCU Field Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute field and workshop-based tasks as necessary.

• Deliver onsite technical guidance, hands-on service, and leadership during the installation, startup, commissioning, and maintenance of customer-owned utility and industrial facilities.

• Develop job planning documents that outline the scope of outages to be conducted, utilizing engineering instructions, drawings, and process guidelines.

• Effectively communicate with Management and Colleagues, incorporating customers' CTQ (Critical to Quality needs) in job planning and execution.

• Lead skilled labor performing tasks at customer locations.

• Diagnose and provide routine maintenance checks for a diverse range of equipment, including power transformers, switchgear, protection relays, control systems, turbines, motors, and generators.

• Troubleshoot electromechanical operations and maintenance issues in the Power Delivery sector.

• Conduct administrative duties such as drafting technical reports, ordering materials, obtaining quotations, preparing job status reports, customer reports, time sheets, and expense sheets in a timely and thorough manner.

• Exercise sound judgment in managing costs and expenditures of Company funds.

• Maintain a strong safety mindset to ensure that executed work adheres to TGE safety standards and technical requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Appropriately qualified Electrical Fitter with demonstrated HV experience, or Electrical Technician/Technologist, or Electrician with proven HV experience.

• Familiarity with testing equipment and procedures.

• Proficient in computer usage.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
