This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

• Execute the removal and replacement of significant wind turbine components, including gearboxes, generators, and main shafts.

• Employ specialized tools and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient exchange of components.

• Confirm that all exchanges adhere to required specifications and quality standards.

• Carry out mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to identify issues with major components.

• Implement necessary repairs and adjustments to guarantee proper operation following exchanges.

• Oversee the commissioning process of newly installed components to ensure they operate efficiently.

• Conduct functional testing and calibration of systems after the exchange of components.

• Perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Vestas and GE wind turbines to avert component failures.

• Diagnose and repair faults in major components to reduce downtime and enhance turbine performance.

• Comply with all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

• Keep precise records of component exchanges, maintenance, and repair activities.

• Produce detailed reports on work completed, including any challenges faced and solutions implemented.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience with basic power tools.

• Valid driver's license.

• No DWI/DUI/OUI offenses in the past 5 years.

• Proficient in English communication.

• Competent in Microsoft Office applications.

• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to climb up to 300 ft. twice a day.

• GWO certificates are highly preferred.

• Willingness to travel 100% and be away from home.

• Demonstrated experience with Vestas and GE wind turbines.
