MBA Summer Associate, Education & Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Actively contribute as a member of a Huron consulting team.

• Frame ambiguous client challenges, perform research and analysis, assess alternatives, and formulate actionable recommendations.

• Evaluate both quantitative and qualitative data to uncover trends, opportunities, risks, and implications.

• Take ownership of designated workstreams or deliverables while collaborating with project teams.

• Transform insights into presentations and deliverables that are ready for clients.

• Work alongside colleagues, clients, and subject-matter experts.

• Prioritize tasks effectively and ensure quality and impact in your work.

• Foster productive relationships with clients and colleagues.

• Pursue feedback, engage in coaching, and enhance consulting skills.

• Participate in networking events, professional development, and wider firm initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a two-year MBA program.

• Anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.

• Strong analytical abilities and structured approach to problem-solving.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven leadership, initiative, and accountability.

• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration abilities.

• Capability to juggle multiple priorities, adapt to dynamic situations, and meet deadlines.

• A keen intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn about new industries, functions, technologies, and methodologies.

• Comfortable working with both quantitative and qualitative data.

• Client-oriented mindset with a commitment to achieving meaningful, measurable outcomes.

• 2–3 years of professional experience in consulting, Higher Education, or relevant work experience before MBA enrollment.

• Authorization to work in the US is required.
