MBA Admissions External Reader/Interviewer – Part-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Evaluate MBA applications for admission consideration.

• Conduct virtual interviews for assessing MBA candidates.

• Timely submission of interview reports and academic evaluations.

• Perform a comprehensive assessment of letters of recommendation, academic achievements, essays, resumes, work experience, career objectives, and other application components.

• Represent Georgetown during applicant interview sessions.

• Maintain regular interaction with MBA applicants and prospective students.

• Assist the MBA Admissions Team in identifying and enrolling a talented and diverse MBA student body.

• Report directly to the Assistant Dean and collaborate closely with the MBA Admissions Operations Team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Minimum of three years of experience in higher education admissions or a student-facing role, or at least three years of experience in recruitment within another industry; eight years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.

• MBA or a related Master’s degree is preferred.

• Strong judgment skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to synthesize information effectively.

• Professional demeanor to properly represent the Georgetown brand.

• Strong relational and interpersonal skills suitable for MBA interviewers.

• Outstanding organizational capabilities and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.

• Openness and capability to learn new CRM systems.
