This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver first- and second-level technical software support directly to clients.
• Engage in and/or lead issue tracking and ticket review meetings with both internal teams and clients.
• Concentrate on production-related issues and activities.
• Collaborate closely with Support Engineers, Maven Core Engineers, and Quality Assurance Testing Engineers.
• Monitor support issues in Jira while adhering to client-specific SLAs.
• Manage Maven migration requests and DCRs in Jira according to client expectations.
• Provide after-hours phone support as required by business needs.
• Record time spent on projects and tasks in compliance with Conduent policy.
• Travel to client or company locations as necessary.
• Resolve issue tickets and implement necessary fixes.
• Create change requests.
• Conduct minor and major software release migrations and builds.
• Package and deliver escrow materials.
• Support change requests, defects, enhancements, features, migrations, and implementations.
• Execute software security scans and code reviews.
• Achieve client satisfaction goals, meet contractual obligations, and fulfill assigned deliverables within set timeframes.
• Report to the Maven Delivery Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Development and over 4 years of experience in Java Software Development, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficient in Java/J2EE.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, such as Oracle, MSQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and related technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and Ajax.
• Experience with XML.
• Understanding of enterprise software.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Capability to provide exceptional customer service, including active listening and empathy.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and handling competing priorities.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capacity to remain calm, composed, and articulate in challenging situations.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams and organizations.
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn in a fast-paced, occasionally high-pressure environment with minimal direct supervision.
• Working knowledge of application servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere, AWS, or Azure is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies is beneficial.
• Knowledge of the public health industry is a plus.
