Mathematics Teacher, Part-Time – Online Instruction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Provide online mathematics instruction in French to kindergarten and primary (elementary) students who are French or Francophone.

• Utilize exclusive teaching resources created by Think Academy France.

• Instruct using the specialized Think Academy France application.

• Engage in required training and educational events to maintain high teaching standards and enhance students' enthusiasm for mathematics.

• Actively contribute to collaborative lesson planning meetings (briefings) and content approvals.

• Develop lesson plans (class preparations).

• Suggest enhancements to content or teaching techniques based on student feedback.

• Offer targeted assistance to students according to their individual learning levels.

• Create and implement support plans tailored to meet the specific needs of students.

• Assign homework on a regular basis and evaluate it.

• Continuously assess student progress through quizzes and tests.

• Provide comprehensive feedback on progress and communicate with parents regarding their child's educational journey.

• Conduct introductory lessons (trial classes).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Pedagogy, Educational Sciences, or a related discipline (preferred).

• International experience will be considered an asset.

• A genuine passion for teaching and a strong desire to work with children.

• High levels of responsibility, professionalism, and dependability.

• A clean criminal record certificate (required).

• Previous experience teaching mathematics at the primary/elementary level (in a school, organization, or through private tutoring) is advantageous.

• Outstanding communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.

• Native French speaker or near-native proficiency in French (minimum CEFR level C1).

• Ability to teach in French fluently and effectively (mandatory).
