This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Utilize state item specifications to create effective items for various projects.
• Conduct preliminary and content reviews independently.
• Facilitate educator content review meetings, rubric validation meetings, range finding meetings, data review meetings, and standard setting meetings.
• Develop blueprints and convert them into item pool development plans.
• Lead the development of math item pools for a project.
• Communicate independently with state clients.
• May act as a Math Content Lead for a project or as a Team Lead for an internal team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field with 5-8 years of experience in math assessment or math education-related areas, or a Master’s degree with 3-6 years of experience in math assessment or math education-related areas.
• Strong understanding and experience with the U.S. Education system and Education Assessment.
• Possess analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Capable of identifying problems and conceptualizing solutions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Proficient in collaboration with team members.
• This position requires travel ranging from 1 to 8 weeks per year, with trips lasting 2-6 days at a time.
