This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Teach small 'core' groups of students in fundamental math skills to encourage a deep understanding of concepts and achieve high scores on college readiness exams (ACT & SAT).

• Monitor each student’s advancement through Vanguard’s distinctive multi-phase curriculum, providing personalized growth and improvement opportunities along the way.

• Demonstrate professionalism and effective organizational abilities by responding to students in a timely manner, managing and updating student lesson schedules on our digital platform, and ensuring students meet their assignment responsibilities.

• Lead the creation and innovative implementation of continually evolving lesson plans and curricula.

• Guide middle and high school students with compassion, recognizing that the college application process is becoming increasingly competitive and stressful.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, education, or a related STEM field (Master’s or higher preferred; entry-level candidates are welcome).

• Experience in teaching math and/or working in a college-level tutoring center (1+ years).

• A GPA of 3.5 or higher.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suites.

• Availability of a reliable internet connection and a workspace with minimal noise and distractions.
