This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Teach small “core” groups of students in essential math skills to foster a deep understanding of concepts and achieve high scores on college readiness exams (ACT & SAT).

• Monitor your students' progress as they navigate through Vanguard’s unique multi-phase curriculum, providing tailored growth and improvement opportunities throughout the process.

• Demonstrate professionalism and strong organizational abilities by responding to students in a timely manner, managing and updating student lesson schedules on our online platform, and ensuring students meet their assignment commitments.

• Lead the creation and innovative implementation of continuously evolving lesson plans and curriculum.

• Guide middle and high school students with empathy, recognizing that the college application process is becoming increasingly competitive and stressful.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, education, or a related STEM field (Master’s or higher preferred; entry-level candidates are welcome).

• Experience in teaching math and/or working in a college-level tutoring environment (1+ years).

• A GPA of 3.5 or above.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suites.

• Access to a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace with minimal distractions.
