Math Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare and mentor adult learners seeking college credit through mathematics courses and assessments.

• Conduct either a 3-hour weekly class or offer 1-hour personalized tutoring sessions.

• Provide engaging and easily comprehensible instruction on mathematical principles.

• Break down intricate mathematical concepts into practical and relatable examples.

• Modify instruction on-the-fly to cater to varying levels of experience.

• Monitor student progress and communicate key insights with the eLearning team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in teaching, tutoring, or applying mathematical knowledge.

• Strong comprehension of algebra, statistics, and fundamental mathematics concepts.

• Professional experience in an academic or professional environment.

• Degree or educational background in Mathematics, Statistics, Education, Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.

• Proficient in using Zoom, Moodle, Google Workspace, and other eLearning platforms.

• Capability to adjust teaching strategies to suit a variety of learning styles and educational backgrounds.

• Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection, a functional computer, and a noise-canceling headset.
