Math Competition Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Instruct AMC10 / AIME / JMO competition problems online using the Think Academy Teaching Platform.

• Design customized training plans that cater to the individual levels and goals of students.

• Produce high-quality problem sets, handouts, and educational materials that align with various competition frameworks.

• Keep abreast of the latest trends, formats, and problem types present in annual math competitions.

• Mentor and guide students as they prepare for both local and international math contests, including BMT, HMMT, and others.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational background in Mathematics or a related STEM discipline (Master’s degree or higher preferred).

• Personal participation in math competitions, with at least qualification for the USA Junior Mathematical Olympiad or an equivalent level.

• A robust mathematical foundation and a thorough understanding of competition-style problem-solving.

• Capability to articulate advanced concepts clearly and motivate students across various levels.

• A genuine passion for competitive mathematics and a commitment to empowering students to succeed.

• Previous teaching or coaching experience is advantageous.

• Participation in team-oriented math competitions is highly valued.
