This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +19 more states.
• Facilitates fair resolution of damages while fostering positive customer service and shop relationships.
• Conducts inspections and evaluations of physical damage to vehicles, whether in-person or virtually, for both first and third-party claims; produces a detailed damage summary and repair cost estimate based on expertise in equipment, parts, and current market values.
• Delivers estimates and negotiates agreed-upon pricing with repair facilities, confirming damage assessments and associated costs; engages in settlement negotiations with relevant parties as required.
• Investigates the actual cash value of vehicles and parts by compiling and analyzing up-to-date market data to facilitate settlements for total loss claims.
• Captures photographs of vehicles and damages to support liability determinations and validate assessments; submits these with completed reports and comprehensive documentation.
• Conducts re-inspections and authorizes additional repairs as necessary to guarantee high-quality service and complete restoration of damages.
• Maintains ongoing communication with clients throughout the repair process; provides initial evaluations and damage summaries, explains pertinent procedures, addresses customer inquiries, and delivers thorough, courteous, and timely service.
• Stays updated on current vehicle and parts values, industry developments, and changes in company policies and procedures.
• Ensures continuous adjudication of claims in alignment with company standards and industry best practices and regulations.
• Produces grammatically accurate and clearly articulated correspondence, including letters, memos, reports, and claim file documentation.
• Adheres to state and federal laws, Department of Insurance guidelines, insurance carrier requirements, and upholds Aspire General Insurance/partner’s policies, procedures, and work regulations.
• Prepares appraisals using licensed software.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Performs additional duties as required.
• Over five years of experience in the Property and Casualty insurance sector.
• College degree is preferred.
• Must possess a comprehensive understanding of insurance industry practices, standards, and terminology.
• More than five years of experience in auto vehicle estimating, handling all types of vehicle damage claims, repairs, and total losses, including the most complex repairs with moderate management oversight.
• Will assist the supervisor in onboarding and integrating new team members.
• Must successfully pass a background check with the aim of obtaining and maintaining a current Independent Adjuster License with the Department of Insurance.
• Requires a disciplined approach to all job-related tasks.
• Must demonstrate a strong foundation in personal organization, sound decision-making, and analytical abilities, along with exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Capability to cultivate strong working relationships with staff, clients, and shops.
• Ability to communicate effectively and amicably with others, fostering a spirit of goodwill indicative of a professional environment.
