Master Data Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review, validate, and implement global master data creation and modification requests within a multi-system framework.

• Conduct basic statistical and relational analyses of extensive data sets to identify and rectify inconsistencies and anomalies.

• Validate and distribute modifications to master data, including Customer, Material, and Vendor information.

• Analyze, confirm, prioritize, and carry out requests for mass updates to Customer, Material, and Vendor master data.

• Oversee workload balancing systems and process limitations to ensure adherence to service level objectives.

• Communicate and collaborate with business units to fully comprehend business needs and the implications of changes to master data.

• Review, validate, and process requests for creating and modifying Customer and Vendor hierarchies.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in data analysis, validation, and posting, or a Bachelor's degree.

• Familiarity with departmental functions, terminology, and interrelations concerning data types such as Customer, Vendor, and Material.

• Preferred experience in wholesale foodservice distribution, master data analysis, or related data management roles.

• Capability to consistently apply standard policies and procedures.

• Basic statistical and relational analysis abilities, including strong logical reasoning skills.

• Proficient at independently analyzing and resolving inquiries and issues.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise information.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel, SAP, and SAP-Master Data Management applications is preferred.
