Master, Container Vessel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Ensure the safety of crew members, cargo, and the environment.

• Adhere to international regulations and company policies.

• Maintain command and supervise ship operations.

• Collaborate with various teams while on board.

⛳️ Requirements

• Overall command of the ship, with responsibility for the safety of crew, cargo, and environmental protection.

• Ensure compliance with international regulations and the company's safety practices and policies.

• Possession of a valid Certificate of Competency (STWC Reg II/2) with verification.

• Hold valid STCW certifications necessary for the role.

• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Commitment to safety culture and mindset.

• Minimum experience requirement: 9 months in rank on a vessel of the same type/size (minimum 1700 TEU).

• Experience in the US and Australia trading areas is preferred.
