This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +31 more states.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify challenges and project requirements.
• Tailor and enhance communications for students and prospects, emphasizing relevance, personalization, and overall student experience.
• Ensure the compatibility and seamless integration of components within the marketing technology stack.
• Evaluate marketing systems and operations to uncover opportunities for improvement utilizing tools such as Workato, Zapier, Airtable, and other middleware.
• Propel marketing automation initiatives aimed at enhancing student engagement and success rates.
• Create Email and SMS journeys as well as automation processes.
• Manage SQL error resolution, troubleshooting, data-flow oversight, and payload delivery.
• Provide technical assistance and foster collaborative project completion.
• Verify and assess the scalability and durability of solutions.
• Monitor implemented solutions and conduct maintenance tasks.
• Document operational procedures, design specifications, and related information thoroughly.
• Maintain comprehensive records for future reference and knowledge transfer.
• Encourage team learning and professional growth.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements.
• Report directly to the Director of Marketing Automation.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Marketo.
• Proven experience in constructing Email and SMS journeys.
• Experience in managing system integrations and API connections among marketing automation platforms.
• At least 3 years of experience working with CRM systems.
• More than 5 years of experience in coding emails and landing pages.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including familiarity with data extensions, complex queries, and joins.
• Proficiency in AMPscript.
• Proficiency in Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS).
• Understanding of web development basics, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with middleware tools such as Workato, Airtable, or Zapier.
• Must reside in and work from one of the authorized states listed in the job posting.
