This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Act as the primary strategic partner on a daily basis: Serve multiple agency accounts as a vital point of contact to foster trust and ensure alignment from client C-suite to execution teams, cultivating an intuitive sense of when to validate, defend, or challenge concepts.
• Remain involved throughout execution: Collaborate with creative, account, and project management teams during projects to ensure that strategic intent is effectively translated into practical, actionable deliverables, rather than merely documented in briefs.
• Represent strategy within the internal client leadership team: Stay closely integrated in key client discussions to clarify objectives, map audience tensions, and navigate operational realities in conjunction with account, project, and creative leads.
• Discover strategic growth opportunities: Proactively convert insights from client work into actionable recommendations, strategic points of view, and future opportunities that enhance the partnership over time.
• Integrate workstreams: Gather intelligence across various lines of business to ensure it accumulates into lasting account knowledge, rather than being lost in individual project presentations.
• Master positioning and audience framing: Create and advocate for clear brand-level positioning across lines of business, establishing the groundwork that messaging, content, and nurture program architectures build upon.
• Design content and messaging systems: Define the sequencing, modularity, and structure of content programs. Collaborate closely with copywriters to develop audience-specific messaging hierarchies that link business objectives to creative execution.
• Guide light-touch channel planning: Work alongside media and channel leads to map content and messaging across advisor and participant journeys.
• 8 to 10+ years of applicable experience in an integrated marketing agency or a comparable environment.
• Regulated Industry Expertise: Proven experience in leading strategy development and implementation within heavily regulated sectors.
• Previous experience navigating the unique compliance nuances and audience definitions of the financial services sector is a significant advantage.
• Strategic Fundamentals: A profound understanding of integrated marketing, with a demonstrated ability to craft sharp, inspiring creative briefs and develop reusable strategic frameworks.
• Channel and Tool Literacy: Familiarity with key marketing channels (e.g., traditional media, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) and tools (e.g., LLMs, Google/GA4).
• AI Proficiency and Strategic Thinking: Proven capacity to utilize AI tools to enhance research, synthesis, and content development while applying sound strategic judgment.
• Project Mastery: Exceptional project management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
