This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take charge of Menlo's marketing strategy in the US, encompassing brand management, content creation, demand generation, community engagement, and market entry.
• Establish and articulate the positioning and messaging for Jan, Asimov, and the Menlo Platform tailored to North American audiences, including developers, enterprise purchasers, researchers, and the larger AI and robotics community.
• Enhance Menlo's visibility across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Discord, Reddit, and various US-based developer networks.
• Create and oversee diverse content types — including written, video, short-form, long-form, technical, and non-technical.
• Lead demand generation initiatives and capture leads for commercial products, managing the US funnel from initial awareness to final conversion.
• Cultivate relationships with US-based media, analysts, research institutions, enterprise buyers, and developer communities.
• Plan and implement Menlo's presence at US industry events, such as conferences, meetups, and developer gatherings in the fields of AI, robotics, and deep tech.
• Establish marketing automation tools to facilitate scalable outreach and community management across different time zones.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Singapore and HCMC to highlight valuable narratives for the US market and effectively present them to the audience.
• A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in a B2B SaaS or technical product organization within the US market, including at least one instance of managing the marketing function from start to finish — strategy, execution, and outcomes.
• Proven expertise in defining positioning and messaging for a technical product, rather than merely executing campaigns.
• A successful history of expanding an audience, community, or pipeline from an initial stage in the US.
• Exceptional writing skills: capable of crafting a compelling LinkedIn post, an effective cold email, a technical explanation, and a cohesive brand narrative without requiring extensive revisions.
• Comfortable with video production: experienced in creating or closely overseeing video content, whether it be short-form social media or long-form technical presentations.
• Data-driven mindset: sets objectives, monitors progress, and adapts strategies when something isn’t yielding results.
• An authentic network within the US AI, robotics, or deep tech sectors — you know the right contacts to reach out to.
