Marketing Representative – Healthcare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Reach out to both new and existing patients to facilitate the scheduling of appointments and confirm their attendance.

• Schedule appointments for new patient referrals and gather all necessary documentation and demographic information.

• Ensure that all patient details are accurately entered into the EMR system.

• Coordinate outgoing referrals, both in-house and external, assisting patients in locating suitable facilities when necessary.

• Provide support to the Central Scheduling department during peak periods or staff shortages.

• Regularly communicate with attorneys and paralegals to obtain patient-related documents such as prescriptions, imaging orders, and declaration pages.

• Monitor and follow up on outstanding documentation and correspondence to guarantee timely processing.

• Keep organized records of all legal and referral communications using spreadsheets and EMR tools.

• Serve as a liaison between the practice and external partners, which includes law firms, referring offices, community organizations, and online vendors.

• Support patient outreach initiatives and manage referral relationships.

• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve patient engagement and enhance communication between patients and healthcare providers.

• Aid in the management of Birdeye, ZocDoc, and other supplementary vendors that contribute to marketing efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a medical office, marketing, or patient coordination role (experience with motor vehicle accident patients is highly preferred).

• Proficient in EMR systems (please specify your EMR if preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and spreadsheet management (Excel or Google Sheets).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; must maintain a professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with patients and legal professionals.

• Strong attention to detail; capable of managing multiple priorities, tracking tasks, and meeting deadlines.

• Willingness to assist other departments, particularly Central Scheduling, as needed.

• Experience in medical–legal case coordination or personal injury cases is preferred but not mandatory.
