This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Collaborate with business development and operations teams in the East Region to assist in pursuit initiatives.
• Prepare both formal and informal client solicitations throughout the entire pursuit lifecycle.
• Take the lead on small to medium proposals and provide support or leadership for larger proposals and presentations.
• Assist capture managers in crafting winning strategies from the capture phase through to interview preparation.
• Oversee proposal content and logistics, including scheduling, templates, compliance requirements, content plans, and production.
• Create annotated outlines and guide technical teams on the structure, messaging, and positioning of sections.
• Write and edit critical sections, such as resumes, past performance summaries, executive summaries, and management approaches.
• Offer conceptual insights on document design and produce marketing materials including project sheets, case studies, and capability statements.
• Facilitate or assist with Pink Team, Red Team, and quality reviews; implement lessons learned and manage revisions accordingly.
• Participate in go/no-go and greenlight assessments, and support capture planning and positioning efforts.
• Conduct internal debriefs and support win/loss debriefs along with client feedback initiatives.
• Contribute to wider marketing and pursuit strategies, campaign development, and client/market-focused content creation.
• Perform self-checks prior to submitting work for review or approval.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, along with 4+ years of experience in supporting or leading proposal development within a marketing or business development team, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
• Experience in responding to RFQs/RFPs and producing compliant, high-quality submissions.
• Ability to convert complex technical information into clear and engaging content.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Knowledge of proposal strategy, compliance, and production processes.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience in the A/E/C industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM tools, such as Salesforce, is preferred.
• Experience supporting clients and services related to energy and/or environment is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Attendance at an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location is required.
