This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Act as the hands-on technical leader of the marketing technology ecosystem, which includes Marketo and associated tools.
• Set up, manage, enhance, assess, and suggest marketing technology solutions.
• Take ownership of the lead lifecycle, scoring, nurture architecture, and operational campaigns.
• Identify and fix sync failures, routing issues, field mapping discrepancies, and platform integration challenges.
• Oversee email segmentation, personalization, dynamic content, deliverability, and governance of sending practices.
• Manage UTM tracking standards, campaign and channel taxonomy, attribution tools, and ensure data quality in reporting.
• Ensure data integrity through hygiene processes, deduplication, normalization, enrichment, and purging.
• Develop operational standards and keep process and systems documentation up to date.
• Collaborate with Demand Generation, Events, and Sales teams to translate objectives into system execution and prioritize requests.
• Lead external execution agencies and guide the team as it expands.
• Propel AI-driven automation for scoring, segmentation, quality assurance, and repetitive tasks, while maintaining governance.
• 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Marketo Certified Expert (Adobe Certified Expert — Marketo Engage) or equivalent demonstrated practical experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Marketo.
• Strong functional knowledge of Salesforce, including its data model and synchronization with Marketo.
• Proven experience in owning and significantly enhancing a production lead lifecycle and scoring model.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining tracking and attribution frameworks.
• Solid background in email operations, inclusive of segmentation, personalization, nurture builds, deliverability, and sender reputation.
• A history of working independently as the primary or senior technical owner of a marketing automation platform.
• Familiarity with GDPR/CCPA is a plus.
• Experience guiding an agency and mentoring a team is advantageous.
• Knowledge of webinar, ABM, enrichment, and modular email build platforms is beneficial.
• Travel requirements are minimal, under 10%, once or twice a year.
• A background check will be conducted.
• Compensation range of CA$102K–CA$140K.
