• Assist our marketing team on projects that encompass nearly all aspects of the business.
• Develop and schedule captivating social media content across platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Instagram, and Reddit.
• Monitor and interact with MASV's social media channels by replying to comments, participating in pertinent discussions, and fostering a vibrant community around our brand.
• Recognize trends and opportunities to expand our audience and enhance MASV's visibility in the media, entertainment, and technology sectors.
• Compose email newsletters and campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
• Investigate trending subjects in media, entertainment, and technology to generate content ideas.
• Create marketing materials and social graphics using Canva to enhance the visual appeal of our content.
• Assist the team in preparing for industry events and webinars.
• Aid in coordinating outreach to partners, prospects, and media to broaden MASV’s reach.
• Contribute to the enhancement of MASV’s brand presence.
• Conduct research on competitors.
• Help formulate messaging and positioning that aligns with our target audience's interests.
• Update, stage, and optimize website content in Webflow.
• Support SEO and analytics efforts.
• Optimize HubSpot CRM for marketing automation, emails, and lead generation.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to brainstorm, plan, and implement marketing initiatives.
• Work together with sales and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and support growth strategies.
• Select a project focusing on a specialized area of marketing that aligns with MASV's marketing and growth objectives.
• Located in Canada, preferably within the Toronto to Kitchener-Waterloo corridor, in case we wish to meet for collaboration.
• Currently enrolled in a program related to Marketing, Communications, Business, or a similar field.
• Strong communicator with excellent writing abilities.
• Willing to engage hands-on and learn through practical experience.
• Inquisitive about technology, media, and business growth.
• Capable of working independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a distributed team.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and adhering to deadlines.
• Familiar with social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter/X), with a track record of fostering engagement and growth.
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Bonus points for experience with Canva, HubSpot, WordPress, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
• Bonus points for proficiency in German, French, and/or Spanish.
• Remote flexibility: Work from your home, a café, or your grandma’s cottage (as long as there’s Wi-Fi).
• Hands-on learning: Forego the coffee runs—you’ll be engaged in meaningful marketing work.
